As Performance Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the lead acquisition MM in all performance marketing activities, from designing to executing the lead generation campaigns across digital channels. This role will report directly to the country Lead Acquisition Manager.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Support the MM in the execution of all lead acquisition/marketing digital channels, including SEM/Social/Display campaigns
- Support the MM in the design and delivery of a lead acquisition strategy.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against KPIs.
- Support the development of engaging online content including organic social content
- Support with the process marketing data collection, storage, maintenance, and reporting (including marketing leads and list optimisation).
- Support with the production of progress reports and regular marketing performance reports.
- Conducting online audience and market research to inform brand awareness, development, and positioning strategies
Day to day
- Support Performance marketing activities from strategy to execution (if required)
- Plan and propose optimisations for digital campaigns to reach the objectives defined in the media plan (primarily lead generation but other objectives include brand awareness, consideration, and re-engagement)
- Real time spend allocation and optimisation decision
- Monitor continuously the results of digital campaigns, define and implement corrective actions
- Track spend versus target daily to ensure correct delivery of campaigns
- Support Management of media buying agency
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with external agencies to assist in the efficient running of digital campaigns
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Marketing, UX, analytics)
- Support with forecasting of digital channels
- Support with Tracking implementation to allow visibility into campaign performance at all stages
- Support with continuous testing
- Testing roadmap for each biddable channel
- Planning/analysis of A/B testing plans to optimise campaigns and channels
- Actively research and share any new digital opportunities on other platforms such as native, outreach, etc
The ideal candidate has:
- At least 4 years' experience in marketing in a digital environment ideally with a focus on performance marketing.
- Must have: Understanding of Google Ads, Facebook ads manager.
- Must have: you are managing Google Ads and/or Facebook ads on a permanent basis in your current role.
- Good to have: Microsoft Ads, SA360, Google Analytics
- Undergraduate and/or Professional qualification in Marketing or a relevant field (BSc/BA, MSc, CIM, IDM or equivalent).
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Must have: you enjoy working with data / you work actively with excel in your day to day
- Excellent IT skills, including intermediate level Word, Microsoft Mail, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills – has ability to ask the right questions, analyze data, draw conclusions and test hypothesis
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)

- Will have strong focus on reaching results and KPIs
- Will have a strong appreciation for people and knows people matter. Must be a doer and knows where their help is needed versus where they can delegate.
- Will be a strong communicator, listener, collaborative, agile, and able to influence in a multi-country matrix structure
