Job Summary
Under close supervision answers Nursing Education and Research Department phone lines in a timely, courteous manner and routes calls appropriately or takes accurate messages. Maintain office supplies and equipment by placing orders for supplies/services. Submits and follows up on repair request.
Essential Functions:
- Answers Nursing Education and Research Department phone lines in a timely, courteous manner and routes calls appropriately or takes accurate messages (30%)
Maintain records and files which support databases (10%)
Accurately inputs into database identifies errors promptly (10%)
Produces and distributes timely and accurate reports (10%)
Assist with opening/closing of Department (5%)
Prepares and submits to payroll deposit daily (5%)
Reserves rooms for instruction for Department (5%)
Upload classes into Cornerstone (5%)
Sends out notification to participants (5%)
Maintains office supplies and equipment (5%)
Submits and follows up on repair request (5%)
Prepares invoice payments for certification cards (5%)
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience:
- 1-3 years clerical or administrative experience Required and
Licenses:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Telephone, computer and scheduling system skills.
Organization and communication skills.
Ability to maintain adequate supplies.
Ability to demonstrate professional work behavior by following guidelines established by policies and procedures.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and with others.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems within limits of established policies, procedures, or instructions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of word processing and data entry systems.
Proficient in the Learning Management System, Cornerstone
Proficient in Sharepoint.
