We seek a driven and independent Network Engineer/Administrator (Level II). As a Network Engineer/Administrator, you are responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, well-organized, a team player, and a problem solver. The position requires independence and accountability as well as a collaborative effort. The position may transition into a hybrid model after at least six months full-time at the office.
Responsibilities:
- Support Microsoft solution technologies, including Windows Servers/Exchange, and Office365.
- Support Windows Desktop Operating Systems
- Experience with Hyper-V/ VMWare, failover clustering and Storage Area Network
- Provide remote and on-site support in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues. Includes analyzing and resolving any system issues that are causing system service disruptions.
- Focus on rapid identification and resolution of customer issues.
- Provide timely and effective resolution to support requests based on internal and external service level agreements (SLA).
- Provide regular updates to customers to keep them apprised of progress toward problem resolution.
- Participate in creating proactive measures to anticipate and/or remove the need for traditional service and support.
- Technical assistance for hardware, software, and/or applications.
- Partnering to create and update technical documentation.
- Providing onsite installation and other professional services as needed.
- Participate in off-hours and a rotating on-call support schedule associated with a 24x7 support operation.
Qualifications:
- 4 or more years of related work experience
- Microsoft certification preferred, AZ-104, MCSE/MCSA/Server/other relevant certifications
- The candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge of:
- Windows Server administration, implementation, and support.
- Microsoft Active Directory / Group Policy.
- Azure, Intune, Autopilot
- Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
- Office 365/Gsuite.
- Network troubleshooting, OSI
- Hyper-V/ VMWare, failover clustering and Storage Area Network.
- Excellent analytical ability and communications skills
- Outstanding customer service skills and experience
- Self-starter, willing to take ownership and work with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational abilities and a passion for excellence
- Driver license
Familiarity with VOIP & Cloud hosted phone systems experience preferred but not required
