Job description
Join Community Services Group (CSG), a Certified B Corporation, as a Mental Health Professional for our Adult Mental Health Residential Programs in Dauphin County and find meaning in your work every day. This position will be based out of our Forensic Diversion Community Residential Rehabilitation (FD CRR) Program in Highspire, PA and will also support our Crisis & Diversion (C&D) Program in Steelton, PA. Hiring immediately for this position.
This position offers:
- $50,000 per year, plus on-call compensation.
- $2,000 Sign-On-Bonus that will be paid after successful completion of the initial evaluation period.
- Full-Time (40 hours per week) Schedule. Working generally Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with some flexibility.
- Every other weekend on-call is required.
- Company vehicle and/or travel compensation provided for work-related travel.

As a Mental Health Professional (MHP), you will be responsible for fostering independent living skills in individuals who have a mental health diagnosis. You will work with staff in implementing individual and group programming. In addition, you will provide responsible care to individuals in the program and will be responsible for the routine operation of the location while on duty. As an MHP, you will serve a role in the clinical aspects of the individual's recovery process. You will also:
- Ensure the individual's health, safety, and welfare by monitoring their physical health and psychiatric health needs.
- Enhance the quality of the individuals' lives and their integration into the community by supporting established goals, and community integration.
- Develop and implement program plans designed to enhance the individual's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and independent living skills.
- Develop and facilitate individual and group sessions.
- Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly records i.e., treatment plans, reports, logs, and other documentations.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members, individual's families, involved agencies, and the community in providing required relevant information.
- The MHP serves as a member of the treatment/service team.
- Perform and assist in tasks to ensure the effective daily operation of the Individuals and program i.e. program scheduling, providing technical assistance to direct care advisors.
- Provide crisis management, intervention, and is on-call as assigned.
- Develop and implement treatment/supportive interventions.
- Provide coverage in emergency situations.
- Willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma informed care; safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment.
- Commitment to promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline from an accredited college or university and 1 year of mental health clinical experience (if the profession is governed by a licensing board in Pennsylvania then the employee shall be registered, licensed or certified to practice in that profession).
- Able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.
- Have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
- Ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
- Able to be on-call for program as scheduled.
