Job Summary

Direct Support Professional - Caregiver - Medical Day Program

Progress Unlimited Inc., a non profit organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities, is seeking a full time Activity Assistant for our Adult Medical Day Program located in Owings Mills.

The ideal candidate should be: Energetic Reliable Flexible AND Enjoy working with people and have good communication skills and able to work independently, follow through with work assignments, and take initiative.

Candidates must have at least:

High school diploma

1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and medical needs

Prior experience working in a healthcare setting (prior experience in an Adult Medical Day Care is a plus)

CNA/GNA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

Providing personal care, Feeding and Engaging clients of all levels in activities

Reporting to nurses

Documentation of data and other important information

Mon through Friday Schedule-
