Functions

  • Leadership
    • Provide leadership to the marketing and sales departments, continue building a strong and collaborative team.
  • Product/Brand design and development
    • Work with design and production teams to continuously develop and manage a product mix that is consistent with core focus and aligned with market needs.
  • Strategic Business Development
    • Work with executive team to develop a proactive business development strategy aligned with production capacity, and work with Directors in Marketing and Sales to operationalize and execute the strategy, coordinating across multiple brands.
    • Maintain up-to-date understanding of the ever-evolving US construction market and opportunities for BWC/Unity to gain long-term competitive advantage.
  • Marketing
    • Work with executive team and marketing director to ensure marketing efforts are producing sufficient high-quality sales leads to achieve company goals.
  • Sales
    • Work with sales directors to ensure that sufficient design and build contracts are being signed to achieve company goals
  • Pre-construction Design Services
    • Refine the pre-construction design systems, engineering and selections processes to improve the efficiency of the design/build process,
  • Customer relations and account management
    • Ensure consistent high-quality consumer experience throughout the preconstruction phase of the client life-cycle.
  • Customer education
    • Ensure marketing and sales develops educational materials that include appropriate technical detail for intended audiences.
  • Customer negotiations and contract closing
    • Understand client needs and desires as well as evolving pricing nuances to ensure contracts are comprehensive and mutually beneficial to all parties. Work with sales teams to continuously refine negotiation process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Champion the Bensonwood/Unity mission to constantly advance our capabilities, capacity, and culture to bring the best standard of building to more people.
  • Model our core values of Quality, Work Ethic, Inclusivity, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, and Humility.
  • Work closely with other members of the Bensonwood/Unity senior leadership team to develop and adjust strategic and operational plans and set key performance metrics across organization
  • Develop and oversee the execution of an aligned revenue strategy across multiple brands and audiences. This includes Unity Homes, OpenHome, Tektoniks, and BWC custom projects. Our clients and partners include residential clients, developers, architects, and general contractors
  • Analyze internal and external data to set and adjust go-to-market and pricing strategies.
  • Lead revenue forecasting by analyzing business tactics, performance, pricing and sales strategies, market research and competition
  • Oversee planning and execution for revenue growth by forecasting sales performance, setting sales targets, determining the effectiveness of current sales initiatives against key metrics and implementing change if necessary
  • Help the sales team work more efficiently by establishing a sound organizational structure and a plan that allows the team to achieve its goals
  • Provide leadership to the marketing and sales departments, continue building a strong and collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ten or more years in diverse leadership roles in the construction industry, driving and implementing revenue growth
  • Proven track record of guiding revenue growth in 30M+ corporations through marketing, sales, and partnerships
  • Significant experience in general management and P&L supervision
  • Experience in making decisions based on business metrics
  • Strong technical experience with CRM and other business productivity tools
  • Master s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or related field preferred
  • Experience with Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) a plus
