Marine Equipment and Materials Surveyor (Sub-Contractor)
Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore is one of the world’s leading ship classification societies and offshore safety and verification bodies. We are seeking surveyors/inspectors (sub-contractors) for our Marine Equipment & Materials Certification Department to be located in the following cities or surrounding areas (Albany, NY and Houston, TX).

- Marine, Mechanical or Electrical surveyor/inspector
- Ability to travel in North America is a plus
- No inspections on vessels or offshore platforms only at onshore manufacturing plants
Expected one or more of the 03 background/experiences listed below:
- Experience with inspection of raw materials and mechanical static and rotating equipment
- Experience with inspection of electrical static and rotating equipment
- Experience with pressure vessels and structural welding inspections, procedures, etc..
- Prepares technically accurate and timely reports of inspections performed
- Excellent communication skills with high level of English proficiency, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills.
- 3+ years experienced.
- Required to be US Citizen or have US Work Authorization
- Hourly rate negotiable.

Pay: $0.10 - $1.00 per hour
