Looking to take on a leadership role? We have an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Area Manager to head the department at WSCP Cleveland West . This individual will be responsible for providing and overseeing maintenance functions for the facility, including building utility systems, equipment maintenance, and building maintenance. This individual ensures safety, environmental, work scope objectives, and departmental goals are being met including safety, project, cost, training, and quality objectives.
Our ideal candidate will be an organized and effective problem-solver, able to prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure that daily operations are running effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Reviews/updates maintenance workload and priorities with Maintenance Lead
• Determinates and coordinates the need for outside contractors; works with contractors, vendors, and corporate engineering on short and long-term projects, machine upgrades and continuous improvement projects, etc.
• Works with other Area Managers on safety, equipment or building related issues.
• Attends Manager, safety, maintenance, and management review meetings.
• Manages, coaches, and develops maintenance technicians and Lead
• Ensures maintenance team understands and promotes all safety policies and procedures, and works safe, always
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

• Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC skills
• Collaborative leadership skills
• Good understanding of the business goals and objectives with the ability to make sound decisions based on current business conditions
• Ability to multi-task several projects at the same time
• Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills - MP2, Excel, Word, E-mail, and Oracle
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC drawings
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent listening and verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, resolve conflict, and problem-solve with all levels of plant personnel
• Strong coaching and training skills to effectively mentor and teach new and experienced team members
• Five years of experience in maintenance environment
• Two to three years supervisory experience
