We are hiring for a full time Mail Operations Supervisor for our Sutter client in the Sacramento area. Pay ranges between $26.00- $28.00 per hour.

Summary
The supervisor in this position oversees management of all services provided at the site to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Develops and maintains working relationships with OMG staff, client contact, client employees and related vendors. Coordinate and provide pertinent information and training for client and
OMG staff to improve efficiencies in all areas managed. Works with Strategic Account Manager to complete all required training, reporting and communication to ensure all site expectations are met or exceeded. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of handling situations of considerable difficulty.
Responsibilities
- Trains employees in the proper completion of tasks and leads them to successful goal achievement
- Supervision of Mail Clerks, Imaging Clerks, and UbiDOCS Specialists
- Forecasts needs and establishes goals for area of responsibility
- Allocates resources: people, equipment, and time
- Maintains knowledge of changing postal rules and regulations and overnight shipping procedures
- Operates postal and document scanning equipment (adjusts, sets up, replenishes & schedules repairs)
- Manage scanning/imaging of documents (mail and files)
- Perform regular Quality Control checks of each process daily
- Able to organize and file documents and folders
- Extreme attention to detail
- Follow procedures precisely
- Preparation of volume and management reports
- Completes site schedules and payroll summaries
- Monitors staff and ensures all production volumes are recorded and are accurate for monthly billing
- Monitors site progress and ensures its congruence with established objectives
- Preparation and review of annual or probationary employee performance reviews
- Maintains updated Standard Operating Procedures for site
- Attends OMG management meetings designated training classes as required
- Evaluates and recommends any changes in workflow processes; evaluates and recommends solutions to improve efficiency, based on research, documentation, and cost justifications
- Assesses need of clients to ensure proper contract requirements are met
- Provides coverage as needed due to absences and vacations
- Maintains good communication skills and excellent rapport with all end-users
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of job
- Assists in approval of staffing and expense management
- Participates in the approval of workflow, equipment and technology solutions and recommendations
- Responsible for staff and vendor performance in relationship to services
- Maintains attendance/absence records for each staff member and documents unscheduled absences according to Sutter policy
- Other duties as assigned by Strategic Account Manager
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a client service-oriented field
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of postal equipment to include postage machines, barcode scanners, and labeling
- Familiarity with USPS general guidelines preferred
- Familiarity with Document Management processes preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and vendors
- Strong organizational skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
- Strong initiative with an ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity up to 50 lbs.

- Manual dexterity required for operating mailing equipment, scanners, etc.
- The ability to lift approximately 25 lbs. on a regular basis
