Hanover Company is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join the leasing team at Hanover Northgate, a luxury apartment community in downtown Oakland, CA. Nestled in the trendy Uptown neighborhood, this Hanover community features apartment homes with 9' ceilings, abundant living spaces, natural stone countertops, and lavish spa-like bathrooms. Residents enjoy exclusive access to a private movie theatre, WiFi lounge, state-of-the-art TechnoGym fitness center, as well as designated outdoor grilling and dining areas.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Leasing Consultant with Hanover Company, you will have the unique opportunity to be the face of the community, welcoming prospective residents to the property for the first time, ensuring that each customer receives the superior level of customer service Hanover Company is known to provide. Through the relationships that you build, and the thoughtful, tailored experiences you create for each customer, you will ultimately be the reason our residents choose to call Hanover home, and a contributing factor to the overall success of the property. Behind the scenes, you will assist the team in developing targeted marketing and leasing campaigns, as well as perform administrative functions such as generate lease agreements and preparing marketing reports. Other responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Generate and manage leads through phone calls, on-site appointments, and effective follow-up communication.
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents to create value and drive leasing performance.
- Acquire extensive knowledge of the property, the neighborhood, local schools, etc., to become an expert on your Hanover community.
- Develop a thorough and extensive understanding of the application requirements, rental process, lease documents, and community policies. Prepare all electronic lease documents prior to move-in according to policy.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail while reviewing rental applications and generating lease agreements.
- Support leasing promotions and resident retention efforts through planning and organizing community events.
- Prepare Weekly and Monthly Market Surveys on a timely basis as required by the corporate office and use this knowledge to help maintain a competitive occupancy and rental rate.
- Perform any and all duties called upon by supervisors to ensure that the property operates in an efficient and economic manner.
- Represent the property and Hanover professionally through dress and behavior.
- Working knowledge of Entrata is a big plus!
