We are hiring a landscaper crew lead to supervise and manage our landscape technicians. Our landscapers are responsible for envisioning unique outdoor spaces and delivering professional results to the clients’ satisfaction. The crew lead is responsible for ensuring that all the work is done to the highest standards. The crew lead will also be responsible for performing landscaping duties as assigned. Essential functions:

● Supervise landscape technicians

● Interact with clients to provide garden education and deliver exceptional customer service

● Perform general maintenance duties such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing

● Conduct minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized on groundskeeping

● Safely cut grounds using hand, power, or riding mower for trimming edges around walkways, flower beds, and walls

● Proactively support, coordinate, and communicate with the owner such as accidents or property damage

● Work well in a team environment

Work environment: Duties and responsibilities are performed outside working in our client’s gardens and landscapes with exposure to poison ivy, biting insects, and general wildlife. Work is performed year-round, often in cold, hot, and wet environments.

Travel: 100%

Qualifications/Skills:

● Minimum of 2 years experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role

● Ability to lead and guide others

● Must be able to safely operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers

● Ability to work some weekends

● Ability to lift 50 pounds

● Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

● Strong knowledge of basic lawn maintenance

● Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for long periods of time

● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

● Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation

● Must be able to pass a drug test

● Must have valid references of employment

Required Education:

● High school diploma or GED
