Monday - Friday. No Evenings! No Weekends!
We're looking for a Specification Development Lab Technician in our Oconomowoc Tech Center to perform testing of metal and plastic containers and container-making materials. This role is responsible for evaluating containers for product interactions to establish the shelf life.

What you’ll do:
- Knows and applies written safety procedures and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines.
- Uses a microscope, conducts destructive and nondestructive testing of metal and plastic food containers to regulate product and container interactions and shelf life.
- Conducts container evaluations and investigations of corrosion problems, discoloration, flavor issues, and spoilage.
- Collects and interprets data.
- Communicates findings both orally and in written form.

We need you to have:
- Associate Degree in science, laboratory or related field OR equivalent work experience.
