This position will assist the The Data Privacy team to implement aspects of the ethics and compliance and data privacy programs. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager of Privacy, and support the EU Data Protection Officer. There is an opportunity in this role to work with key stakeholders across the business, and tailor the experience to the internrs individual interests.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this internship include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the management of data subject requests, privacy impact assessments, data protection impact assessments and incident responses
  • Supporting the implementation of a global cookie compliance solution
  • Assist in relevant Privacy projects
  • Establishing working relationships with applicable expertise areas and support training initiatives
  • Acquiring in-depth understanding of data privacy requirements across various region and country’s requirements in order to progressively mature into a subject matter expert on data privacy

Qualifications

  • No previous data privacy experience is required, however Privacy Law coursework is preferred
  • Effective organizational, analytical, confidentiality, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter
