Human Resources Coordinator
Job description
The Employee and Events Coordinator is an on-site position and will be responsible for coordinating, attending and bringing excitement to assigned employee recognition, events and programs to recognize and reward performance and service, build morale, enhance the team environment and celebrate organizational successes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Takes initiative to identify areas of employee interest and develops programs to engage these interests.
- Assists the Employee Engagement Manager with developing, implementing and maintaining a calendar of events and recognition.
- Ensures that all employee recognition events and programs are properly organized and effectively communicated to all of Oneida Nation Enterprises, as appropriate.
- Conducts pre and post event meetings to ensure success and enhance future recognition events.
- Collaborates consistently with various departments (Leadership, Supply Chain, Finance, Entertainment & Events, Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Sales) while maintaining positive and professional relationships.
- Develops, implements and administers the organization’s various awards programs and other programs to recognize performance which supports strategic objectives, goals and values.
- Consistently follows department standards when greeting guests and answering calls. Effectively communicates with employees, helping and/or providing referrals to the appropriate HR area. Provides backup coverage for the front desk as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, and/or Communications or equivalent combination of academic training and business exposure.
- 2 years’ prior experience in Human Resources, events planning, or employee relations.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and to multi-task.
- Strong computer background with the ability to write and create reports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,100.00 - $50,500.00 per year
