Human Resources Generalist

This role with our client can be a great opportunity to do so. They are a top 5 home care agency located in Philadelphia, PA (Center City) and they are seeking a full time on-site HR Generalist. Bachelor's degree is preferred but is not required. Human resources experience within home care is a huge plus!

Duties of this role included but are not limited to:
Represent the Human Resources Department to internal and external customers by providing exceptional customer service to include answering calls and responding to requests for information.
Track status of credentials and background screenings; and audit the files to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as: current licenses, PPD screenings, Flu Shots, etc.
Follow up with staff by phone, email or memo regrading compliance requirements as necessary.
Conduct/Review background screenings such as child abuse, state police, sanctions checks, OIG, social security verification and primary source verification of licenses upon hire; and ongoing screenings in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Communicate frequently with Vice President of Human and Clinical Department regarding status of caregivers’ credentials and advise when staff members are non-complaint.
Makes updates to HR record keeping system(s)/HRIS.
Provide day to day administrative support to operations of Human Resource Department as directed by Vice President of Human Resources to include project assistance.
Organizes and maintains HR and team member electronic files.
Review Benefits Information with Associates and helps directs Associates regarding enrollment in Benefit Plans if needed.
Provide employment verification letters to staff as needed.
Provide coverage for Receptionist on breaks and when out of office.
Assist with answering incoming phone calls (company wide initiative)
Maintains confidentiality of staff and agency information according to HIPAA guidelines.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulation concerning employment.
Demonstrates a concerned, helpful and professional manner.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
