• Monitors freezers, coolers for proper temperature.
• Picks up floor, clears carts, cleans and stocks registers, fills bag stations.
• Brings in carts from the parking lot.
• Performs night maintenance duties as directed.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to treat each customer with respect and in a friendly manner.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out one-or two-step instructions.

Ability to lift boxes repetitively and unload trucks.

Ability to work flexible hours as needed and scheduled.

Patience in dealing with customers and other individuals.

Knowledge of store layout.

Ability to handle required lifting duties.

Ability and willingness to smile and carry a casual conversation with customers.

Report Irregularities or safety hazards to the Manager in Charge immediately.

Work Environment

The associate is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Is expected to perform in inclement weather conditions.
