Title: Guest Services Agent

Department: Front Office

Location: Orlando, FL

At the Caribe Royale, we are extremely excited about the expansion of the Grand Caribe Convention Center, the complete renovation of all 1,335 suites and villas, and a new lobby creating a new “arrival experience”. Responsibilities:

  • To learn and practice proper telephone procedures – how to answer phone, place a call, or transfer calls.
  • To be able to work different shifts and /or functions to accommodate business demands.
  • Follow standards operating procedures and adhere to rules and regulations of Guest Services Department and Resort.
  • To read and review all memos posted. Also, review any special information written on dry eraser board.
  • To be familiar with handling of guest mail, messages, and/or packages.
  • To be familiar with the departments in the resort-their functions.
  • To command a good working knowledge of the Logistics system.
  • To assist with guest request, whenever possible.
  • To look after the well being of every guest and take personal responsibility in solving the guest problems-to ensure a memorable experince!
  • To be friendly, courteous and helpful to all individuals, both guest and non-guest.
  • Uphold the hospitality standards set by the resort.
  • To keep a positive attitude and seek pleasure out of assisting other…enjoy what you do!
  • To complete the checklist.
  • To be aware and familiar with all Meeting, functions, and conventions in the resort.
  • To insure that new employees are sought after for any questions or concerns that could make there job more desirable.
  • To command a working knowledge of the phone system.
  • To command a working knowledge of the fax server.
  • To command a working knowledge of the Dispatcher station, as well as, the Simplex alarm system.
  • To command a working knowledge of the emergency procedures.
  • To assume any additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor and or assistant front desk manager.
  • Maintain and adhere to our company values
  • Uphold company grooming standards at all times
