Red Envelope is leading the search for a Guest Group Sales Manager for a faith-based non-profit that serves thousands of young people a year in a camp environment.

The Guest Group Sales Manager is responsible to further the mission of the organization by leading culture, growth, development, and strategy of new ministry partners as well as to grow and retrain existing relationships. The Sales Manager plans, communicates and implements custom guest retreat experiences. The Sales Manager provides support for day camps, overnight camps, and programmed retreats. Support includes pre-arrival communication, camper and group check-in, and camper pre-registration.

Responsibilities:

• Foster relationships with individuals, foundations and other prospective ministry partners to further grow guest group experiences.
• Oversee retreat contract negotiations with guest groups and partner churches.
• Provide excellent customer experiences that leaves guest groups and partners with the desire to return and find other partnership opportunities.
• Partner with customers to connect them to experiences that are relevant and best meet their needs.
• Assist with check-in for guests as needed, ensuring a smooth and seamless check-in process.
• Collaborate with the Registration team to ensure high quality customer service in all interactions with customers.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Registration Director and Camp Directors.

Requirements

Basic:

• Commitment to the mission and ministry philosophy of the organization.
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in an ever-changing, fast environment.
• Proven track record in sales and marketing.
• Ability to respond to multiple simultaneous issues by prioritizing problems and finding creative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Sales, or related field preferred.
• Experience in camp ministry or event planning preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Services.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, bend, and twist
• Ability to push and pull loads
• Must be able to lift frequently up to 35 lbs.; occasionally 35-100 lbs. with assistance
• Good hand-eye coordination

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
