Great Day Improvements is seeking Glass Production Associates for our Macedonia Plant

Responsibilities include: Glass handling from unload, slotting glass per customer order specifications, packaging glass. Further responsibilities include preparing glass for the furnace, furnace control, seaming, using laser logo.

• Essential Functions
  • Sort glass according to paperwork specifications.
  • Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Adjust, clean, or repair products or processing equipment to correct defects found during inspections of work area.
  • Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions.
  • Record inspection and test data, such as weights, temperatures, quantities.

  A qualified candidate should posses an intermediate to advanced level of mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

• 
  Additional preferred skillset should include Machine setup experience, ability to accurately use measuring tools and intermediate computer knowledge.
