The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a number of General Laborers to fill the positions of Lunchables Placer & Machine Operator. The responsibilities of these positions are similar and vary mostly in the level of skill required while on the production floor. We have multiple shifts available for each position. We will be placing applicants into each job based on previous manufacturing experience, so applying to this job post means that you are open to an offer for either position. Exact pay will depend on experience but remain within the stated range.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Operates machines that perform filling and packaging functions.
• Makes minor adjustments to machinery as needed.
• Inspects filled packets to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
• Fills out production work orders accurately to include start/stop times, down time codes, and packaging materials used.
• Dismantles, cleans and sanitizes equipment.
• Performs minor mechanical repairs and light preventative maintenance.
• Monitors mechanical operation of machinery, including clearing equipment jams machines, and assisting with troubleshooting.
• Placing of Lunchables package components into specified tray compartments, finished package inspection, grading for quality defects, placing finished packages into a carton, and palletizing the cartons.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food & beverage manufacturing (particularly Machine Operator) experience preferred.
• Basic digital literacy.

• Quality Orientation – Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved- no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time.
• Adaptability – Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment.
• Teamwork/Collaboration – Working effectively with team/work group or those outside the formal line of authority (e.g. peers or senior managers) to accomplish organizational goals.
