LOCATION

This position is a 100% in person role. The successful candidate will be expected to work in person on all scheduled work days and must reside in Omaha, NE.

DESCRIPTION

Did you know that Scooters Coffee roasts our coffee beans and bakes our baked goods and distributes them to our stores? We are looking for a General Facilities Associate that will help with general upkeep and the tidiness of our warehouse and grounds. We are also looking for someone who can be flexible and is willing to handle a variety of tasks with limited supervision. This individual wlll work with powered equipment daily and must be willing to learn and operate this equipment with the warehouse and manufacturing setting. No experience necessary, just the willingness to learn!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warehouse upkeep and tidiness
• Prepare for inspections and audits by maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Maintain sidewalks and surrounding areas of the facility to keep up with our appearance standards.
• Work with department leaders in warehouse, bakery, coffee, and facilities to complete tasks as needed and directed by management.
• Ability to work safely and with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow all safety and GMP practices.
• Represent our core values of Integrity, Love, Humility, & Courage
• Daily operations of powered equipment within the warehouse and manufacturing environments
• Safe utilization of Powered Industrial Equipment (Forklift, Scissor Lift, Electric Pallet Jack, Floor Scrubber and Floor sweeper) Training and certification will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 0-2 Years of Experience
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT

Able to meet the following physical demands, either with or without a reasonable accommodation:

• Regular and predictable attendance
• Lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 75 pounds frequently throughout a day
• Stand, sit, stoop, climb, kneel and crouch occasionally throughout a day
• Hear, see, and speak within a loud environment
• Work in varying temperature zones, from freezer temperatures to non air conditioned temperatures in the summer
