Quiet Waters Outreach is a 501c3 nonprofit Christ-centered ministry dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and caregivers by providing services to restore their spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental health.

Position Summary
QWO’s Director of Ministry & Fundraising oversees faith supports for our guests and their families, and provides consultation to churches with regards to ministry alongside people with intellectual and developmental disability, and oversees all aspects of fundraising for the organization, the stewardship of our donors, volunteers, & other supporters, and communication with the larger QWO community.
This position is 32 hours per week; salaried. Fully paid medical & dental benefits included.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops & establishes ministry objectives in accordance with organization's mission, statement of faith and board directives.
- Establishes and maintains relationships and partnerships with other agencies and organizations in the community toward meeting ministry and fundraising objectives.
- Processes donations and related banking.
- Plans and implements fundraising efforts; donor contacts, campaigns, & events (ie. annual spring fundraiser, Giving Tuesday/Year-End Giving promotion, and any other special campaigns).
- Explores grant opportunities and submits grant proposals.
- Reconciles financial records independently and in collaboration with the bookkeeper.
- Works with Executive Director and Board of Directors to create and implement programs, projects, policies to achieve goals and organizational strategy.
- Screens and oversees volunteers for ministry/fundraising events.
- Supervise office support as needed.
- Assist in preparing and presenting bi-monthly reports to the Board of Directors; and attendance required at Board meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to commit to Quiet Waters Outreach’s mission, goals, and Statement of Faith.
- A heart for supporting and working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and high level of personal integrity.
- A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and a self-starter.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong character and work references.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher. Adobe Creative Suite and Giftworks a plus.
- Ability to complete First Aid CPR/AED training paid for by QWO.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $46,592.00 - $49,920.00 per year
