Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

We are looking for a Full Time Nanny in Denver (80212).

A lovely family in Denver is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny to provide exceptional care for their children and provide support with additional household duties during downtime (naps, etc). Their current nanny, whom they love, got an opportunity she can’t pass up. The ideal candidate will be an experienced nanny who is happy to collaborate with parents, ensure the well-being of their children, and assist with keeping the home running smoothly. Below is a list of some of the details of the role but in general they are looking for a pro-active, go-getter, child loving, experienced nanny who can grow with them, and become part of the family.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for their children, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and engaging in age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for their children
• Tidy up after the children, clean and organize their rooms, ensure their play spaces are clean and safe, tend to the children's laundry
• Children's meals and snacks
• Drive the children to and from school, activities, and appointments
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's needs and activities
• Maintain open communication with parents and update them on children's progress and needs
• Help with the children's development and education, including reading, playing, and teaching basic life skills

Additional Detail:

• Hours / Responsibilities
• 40 hours per week
• They have a very well behaved goldendoodle who is great with their daughter-- their nanny would have to be comfortable with having their dog around and sometimes helping out with him in a pinch!

• Childcare - 2 children, a fun and curious 2-year old who will spend most time at daycare and a newborn (to be born in May 2023) who you will be caring for full-time through October, but will transition to 2 days at daycare starting at 6 months.

• Schedule - They would love someone who has a bit of flexibility in their schedule and to be able to trade some days of the week for some weekend shifts, with advance notice.

They will require their new nanny to pick up and drop off from daycare some times, when parents’ schedules need some adjusting.

• General schedule: M, W, F - 8AM - 6PM & Tu, Th - 3PM - 6PM

Remaining 4 hours (to equal 40/week) to be typically added to Tuesday and Thursday schedule, but occasionally (maybe 1 time per month) weekend nights/days with advanced notice

Start date: May 1 or earlier, if available

Long term

$25-27/hr DOE

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on childcare experience
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Experience caring for children of various ages
• Valid driver's license, own reliable transportation, and clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be up to date on COVID vaccinations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
