Join our team as we expand our ventilator care unit. We have excellent resident to staff ratios!!

We are currently seeking full time Respiratory Therapists (RRT or CRT), 36 hours per week for our 6pm-6am shift. This position will work every 4th weekend.

As a Respiratory Therapist you will use your education and experience to provide care to patients on our skilled nursing rehabilitation & ventilator unit as well as assist with respiratory needs for other residents.

The essential functions for the Respiratory Therapist include:

• Ensure competent delivery of all respiratory care procedures
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of respiratory care services
• Verify respiratory care physician’s orders and document appropriately in the plan of care.
• Make recommendations for changes or modifications to patient regarding respiratory therapy care.
• Perform clinical assessments and maintain a working knowledge of respiratory care instruments, equipment and care procedures (i.e. airway management, CPR, mechanical ventilation, blood gas collection).
• Perform troubleshooting with appropriate problem resolution.
• Maintain effective communication with staff and physicians while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Follow health, safety, security, hazardous materials and infection control policies and procedures
• Educate staff on respiratory therapy policies and procedures.
