Job description
A front desk supervisor takes responsibility for the front desk staff in their performance as well as their training. Ensuring each employee is properly trained and comfortable handling all situations with guests.
We are a 99 room, new property which has a very busy summer season.
This position is mostly 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm - but could vary.
Responsibilities include:
- Checking guests in/out - ensuring their reservations are accurate
- Providing great customer service and ensuring our guests have a memorable experience.
- Find any errors made within the system and resolve.
- If needed, provide write ups for staff
- Assist manager in any projects.
- Training new staff on system, customer service, answering the phones and empowerment.
- Ensure each shift is covered appropriately.
- Weekend availability is required.
This position begins at $15/hour.
Marriott experience is a plus.
Supervisor experience preferred
