We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to provide administrative support to our Primary Care team. The ideal candidate enjoys communicating with patients, staff and visitors and is interested in providing excellent customer service. Works together in a TEAM environment and a great team player. The successful candidate for this position will be required to answer multiple incoming phone lines, verify insurances, checking in patients and checking out, perform clerical functions, provide accurate information and exhibit superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous manner.
• Verify insurances for appointments
• Collect copays and balances from patients and balancing of money at the end of the day.
• Manage faxes and distribute to the correct departments.
• Answer questions from potential clients in a knowledgeable and courteous manner.
• Follow-up with patients when the primary care doctor is unable to see them.
• File medical documents and maintain medical records.
• Send medical documents to other medical professionals.
• Check insurance information for accuracy.
