Normally local operators' first exposure to our clients’ change in process, or change in vendor, the Fixed Asset Survey Associate is responsible for ensuring our client’s required data is properly captured, photographed, and cataloged. Facility Command works with varying CMMS/FMMS systems to do site surveys and capture the make, model, serial number, and condition of multiple pieces of equipment that are critical to the end users’ day-to-day operations. A Fixed Asset Survey Associate will be provided a scope of work per brand or per project of assets that are expected to be captured. If an expected piece of equipment is inaccessible or not there, the Survey Associate is expected to engage with the client’s onsite team to verify that there is no way of capturing the information. Oppositely, if there is additional equipment that is there, but not expected, the surveyor is expected to confer with their team leader or project manager to determine if it should be collected. The Facility Command mantra is it’s always good to catalog too much, instead of having to make a return trip.

Other functions of this position include recording incurred expenses, planning individual travel within time and financial budgets, being able to champion a change in a client organization, and having the ability to adapt and think outside of the box. The Fixed Asset Survey Associate must also be able to complete daily checklists and be knowledgeable of how their role has upstream and downstream effects - you will shadow and work with the person who handles the information gathered in the field to ensure the proper information and photos make it to the next step.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Financially responsible
• Able to travel for up to three weeks at a time
• Proficient with smartphones and clear photography
• Willing to learn
• Organized and detail oriented with repetition
• Ability to focus on repetitive tasks and be able to identify differences.
• Comfortable with heights and using ladders
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic understanding of refrigeration, building systems, cooking equipment, fire/life safety and HVAC systems

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $45.00 per hour
