HOURS AND DAYS:

6:30 PM - 7:30 AM

Sun, Tues & Wed Nights

POSITION PURPOSE:

· Responsible and accountable for established machine and shift productivity, quality, and yield requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Heavy physical effort required.

· Must be able to lift 55lbs throughout the shift.

· Continuous mental and visual attention required.

· May be trained and required to operate a forklift.

· Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and walk about the building.

· Regularly required to climb fixed stairs to access loading platforms.

· Regularly required to maintain balance while performing job tasks that may be in awkward bending and stretching positions.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

· Fine manual motor dexterity required to complete forms and other paperwork.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Works in a powder processing manufacturing facility with moderate noise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operates assigned film department machine(s) in compliance with established current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operation Procedures, safety requirements and other regulations.

· Responsible and accountable for established productivity, quality, and yield requirements.

· Recommends productivity, efficiency, quality and safety improvements to management.

· Performs and documents operation in compliance with Batch Records, SOP’s, and any other required documentation.

· Complies with all company policies.

· Works in a safe manner.

· Checks work for accuracy.

· Participates in training as needed.

· Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of a High School degree or GED.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Must be organized, thorough, and self motivated.

· Strong ability to prioritize tasks, and handle multiple tasks.

· Ability to follow written instructions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· None.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

· cGMP

· SOPs and HACCP as required.

· All PPE Safety as required.

· Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.

· Machine operation for film machines, line, solution, slitter.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

· All required PPE

· Dust masks as required.

· Safety Glasses.

· Lab Coats.

· Gloves.

· Hair nets.

· Hearing protection as required.

OTHER:

· Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.54 per hour
