We have partnered with a prominent PNT and custom engineering agency to find the perfect Facilities Manager for their Rochester, NY office and future offices to come! The Facilities Manager is responsible for creating a suitable working environment, expanding our existing footprint as we grow, and ensuring facilities are always clean among other duties.

**50% facilities management + 50% design eye

Responsibilities:

• Design new facility building layouts
• Interior design recommendations
• Ensure that facilities meet compliance standards
• Plan for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs
• Oversee any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects
• Help with office relocations- travel eventually 40%-50%
• Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors across different locations
• Handle service contracts
• Keep financial and non-financial records
• Budget Management
• Project manage general contractors
• Landlord lease management/negotiations
• Office furniture management and purchase

What we'd like to see in a candidate:

• Strong creativity, artistic ability, and imagination
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read and draw blueprints
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and resolve any issues
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Advanced attention to detail
• Proven working experience in interior spaces (renovations, space planning and new construction)
• BS/BA in facility management or design or relevant field
• Travel approximately 40% of the time may be necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
