The
Events Manager will collaborate with internal teams with setting event budgets, planning and executing timelines and ensure consistency of processes and messaging for firm events. The Events Manager will build and maintain relationships with vendors to manage event logistics. They will work with the Events team to identify and pioneer innovative event ideas.
- Planning of Firm, BU, and office events/activities. Manage aspects of event planning process: budget, travel & accommodations, attendance, venue sourcing, registration, mobile app, logistics planning, onsite staffing, etc.
- Execute event details through Cvent and other platforms: websites, registration, mobile app, budgets, etc.
- Manage set-up and delivery of in-person, digital events and hybrid events.
- Maintain vendor and internal relationships.
- Review invoices, track costs and manage payment processes. Manage reporting and email campaign tracking.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 to 8 years of experience. Experience with Cvent system and event planning preferred
- Intermediate level proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong ability to build relationships
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask/work on multiple projects
- Travel up to 25%
