A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a junior level Engineer to join our team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This position will perform system-wide analysis and functional allocations, business process modeling and interface of software and/or computer hardware systems of the National Airspace System (NAS) large-scale real time systems composed of hardware, software, firmware, internal operating systems, databases and network architectures.

Essential Job Functions:

• Fundamental knowledge of network systems and software applicable to FAA procedural requirements.
• Hands-on experience in real-time design, development, testing and integration of new systems being upgrade by Terminal Second Level Support (TSLE) organization.
• Perform assignments on a broad range of tasks associated with the implementation of standards, techniques, procedures and criteria as they apply to technical tasks.
• Participate in the development of new technology; including modifying the structure of existing software products.
• Review final draft documents for conformity to requirements and completeness.
• Track preparation and delivery status of required deliverables.
• Attend meetings, design/code reviews, working groups and briefings.
• Report issues and problems and recommends solutions.
• Perform other related duties in line with tasks assignments.
• Work under general guidelines and objectives.
• 50 percent travel is required.

Other Job Functions:

• Use computer information system/and engineering principles to assists in assessing complex problems.
• Investigate, develop, appraise and present solutions for the System Engineering and Field Support Team.
• Test and evaluation policies and methods, including test plan, test procedure and test report development and test execution.
• Hands on network experience such as test bed establishment (including the physical, interface and installation requirements), test bed maintenance or test bed operations, test bed configuration (i.e., bring up) and troubleshooting.
• Computer hardware and software (Servers, Router).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

• Programming languages such as: C/C++.
• Microsoft Windows Excel Spreadsheet.
• UNIX/Linux, Cisco and IOS.
• Applications: Microsoft Office Suite, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Analysis, Design of Information Systems, CCNA.
• US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Operating Systems: Unix, LINUX, Solaris, CISCO, IOS.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 3 years of related work experience OR
• Master's degree in Engineering with 1 year related work experience.
