Direct Support Professional (DSP) - $17.50/hr
Wingspan Life Resources is seeking warm and caring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for Part Time, Full Time, and On Call shifts providing services to people with developmental and other disabilities in our group homes in Minneapolis, Saint Paul and the surrounding metro area. Experience is not required and paid training is provided. Some openings include sleep and awake overnight shifts.

Sleep shift rates are $16.50 per hour.
New Hire Incentive Bonus:
New hires can also take advantage of our $1500 sign-on bonus for all of our DSP positions: $500 after the first 4 months of service, $500 again after 8 months, and an additional $500 after 1 year. Take some time to get to know our clients and organization; we think you'll love the experience!
What You Will Do:
DSPs are the foundation of Wingspan’s services. DSPs assist residents with daily routines, home care, and medical administration. They build relationships, implement individual program plans, participate with our clients in recreational activities, and perform other duties as necessary. Direct Support Professionals are responsible to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of each individual.

Our Hiring Process:

Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, read, and write in English
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb
- Ability to complete tasks such as shoveling, mowing, vacuuming, shopping, and pushing a wheelchair.
- The ability to successfully pass a background check as determined by the Department of Human Services
- A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
- The ability to have passion for helping individuals feel happy, successful, and safe in their lives is highly desired.
