Responsibilities:

• The Director of IT will be responsible for managing multiple Division projects both domestically and internationally.
• Responsible for managing Division ERP projects including implementations and upgrades both domestically and internationally.
• Responsible for setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
• Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
• Responsible for onsite ERP applications roll out and will travel as required
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Oversees and manages project team members at multiple AMETEK locations – directly working with ERP consultants and key functional users
• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Manages project budgets.
• Once the ERP applications are implemented the ERP Project Manager is involved in the daily management of the project to ensure adherence to the global design and successful user’s acceptance.
• Responsible for ensuring all projects follow AMETEK project methodology.
• Works with VP of IT to ensure corporate standards and policies related to IT and Business Systems are in compliance.
• Responsible for leading as-is business process reviews and to-be business process designs ensuring best practices are followed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering Five years
• Implementation experience in the ERP field is required
• Demonstrated understanding of structured ERP implementation methodology
• PMP Certification is highly desirable
• Experience implementing lean processes
• Experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics ERP applications is desirable
• Ability to predict, recognize and manage cultural and technological changes within the organization and the corresponding transitions required. It is essential the applicant understand technology direction and trends and their strategic business impact.
• Ability to implement AMETEK’s ERP implementation methodology
• Excellent communication skills and critical thinking skills.
