As a reflection of our current needs and planned growth we are very pleased to offer a new opportunity to join our dedicated Real Estate Facilities and Maintenance team in support of our operations as a Director of Facilities for Aspen Dental.

Core Responsibilities

• Leads and manages facilities team.

• Develops and implements new facilities protocols - cleaning, dental and repairs.

• Develops and manages R&M budget.

• Provides oversight of facility management software solutions.

• Leads team members to achieve department goals aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

• Develops a strong sustainable team by attracting, developing, rewarding, and retaining talent.

• Works across the organization and with the field teams to develop best-in-class policies and practices that support department and company goals.

• Uses various modes of communication to educate and influence all levels of the company.

• Identifies emerging internal and external business trends and conducts analysis to solve problems and issues with short term and long term consequences.

• Analyzes Profit and Loss statements, recommends changes in course of action for the department; educates the team and interprets the company’s financial health.

• Partners with the Legal department to mitigate company risk.

• Develops and manages relationships with external business partners.

• Develops and manages the department budget.

• Forecasts department staffing needs and manages staffing levels.

• Creates and manages department metrics that identify trending of key performance indicators.

• Provides specialized advice and recommendations on managing specific issues or problems, and provides expertise to support informed decision making by others.

• Provides input to direct report on strategies that support company goals and objectives.

• Understands the business structure of The Aspen Group and its role as a support service provider for the Doctors and their practices and is able to educate direct reports on this structure and TAG’s® role.

Education and Experience:

• 8 years of job related or industry experience required

• Bachelor's in Business or Construction/Facilities required

• HVAC or OSHA Courses preferred

• 3-5 years experience in people management required

• 3-5 years supervisory experience required

• 1-2 years experience with Service Channel (Facilities Maintenance System)

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service

• Ability to work effectively with a team to achieve goals

• Ability to communicate well with others

• Knowledge of HVAC and general building maintenance a plus
