The Director of Broadcast & Media Outreach provides leadership, plans, coordinates, and evaluates a comprehensive broadcast and media outreach program to help people trust and follow Jesus Christ and turn viewers into participants in the ministries of First Baptist Church.

Essential Functions of this position:

1. Provide leadership, plan, coordinate, and evaluate a comprehensive broadcast and media outreach program to turn viewers into participants in the ministries of First

2. Produce a weekly Sunday Morning Worship television and livestream broadcast that is excellent in production quality and clear in emphasizing the message being communicated in Worship. Provide graphic avenues for viewers to engage with the message by way of Scripture/content display and sharing connection platforms (e-mail, Flocknote, social media, etc.).

3. Produce livestream broadcasts that are excellent in quality and clear in emphasizing the message being communicated in all requested worship experiences. Provide graphic avenues for viewers to engage with the message by way of Scripture and point display and sharing connection platforms (e-mail, Flocknote, social media, etc.).

4. Produce top-quality archived video and audio recordings of Sunday worship and other requested events by way of preferred or requested outlets.

5. Produce short sermon and music video clips with attention-grabbing graphics that can be shared via social media.

6. Supervise all broadcast and media employees, not including the Technical Director.

7. Recruit, train, lead, and seek to disciple all broadcast and media volunteers, including training replacement broadcast directors to allow you to provide wider-scale supervision during services and events.

8. Maintain our broadcast and media equipment in a manner that keeps the equipment functional and all spaces - including storage spaces - neat and organized.

9. Develop and implement a plan for upgrading our broadcast and media tech to produce creative and increasingly engaging productions.

10. Work with supervisors to develop value-adding content featuring ministerial staff and members of First Baptist Church.

11. Serve as our webmaster, ensuring that all church-related websites are excellent sources of communication that is clear, current, appealing, engaging, and meaningful in helping visitors trust and follow Jesus.

12. Serve as our digital sign content producer and manager, ensuring that content displayed on the sign is clear, current, appealing, engaging, and meaningful in helping passers-by trust and follow Jesus.

13. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Directing and producing for broadcasts and livestreams, strong Adobe Premiere experience, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop experience, ProPresenter experience, ENG and EFP videography training, management ability, proofreading ability, strong computer knowledge, social media management ability, website management ability.

Working Conditions: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders and stairs, and lift 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
