Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Logistics Driver & Services at our Fort Worth plant.

What you'll do:

  • Perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods.
  • Operate DOT regulated truck, mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse /manufacturing facilities.
  • May utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.
  • Comply with all company safety rules, procedures and applicable governmental regulations.
  • Must have a satisfactory driving record. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Operate a truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations.
  • Prepare, receive, provide complete appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service.
  • Load, secure and unload cargo.
  • Deliver and set-up product per work order.
  • Provide training and set-up instructions to customers.
  • Demonstrate and/or teach technical aspects of operation.
  • Receive, store and ship materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Pull, package, stage and load outgoing shipments.
  • Unload, unpack and inspect incoming shipments and locate in designated area.
  • Safely operate appropriate equipment for movement of materials.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
  • Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.
  • May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation.

What you'll need:

  • One year of related experience
  • Experience driving a flatbed truck
  • Experience with city driving
  • Must have a satisfactory driving record
  • Experience operating forklift and small hand tools
  • Ability to follow all company safety rules, procedures and applicable governmental regulations
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
