Maple Leaf is looking to hire Directors for both of their Malta Childcare Centers. Our North Center has 14 classrooms and is licensed for 210 children 6weeks-12years old. Our South location has 8 classrooms and can have 95 children.

This position is for someone who has a minimum of 1 year of Assistant Director or Director experience at a Licensed childcare facility. Candidate must have 2 years of supervisory experience.

Candidate must be NYS Director Qualified and hold the following Education;

Bachelor's Degree including, or in additional to, 12 credits in Early Education, Child Development or related field

OR

New York State Children's Program Administrator Credential

Candidate must be mature, of good character and assertive

Candidate must be in good physical and mental health, have the energy and emotional stability to handle multiple high stress situations
Overseeing the safety and supervision of children and staff
Maintaining a clean and safe learning environment following COVID-19 guidelines
Effectively communicating with and delegating tasks and responsibilities to staff

Communicating effectively with parents

Enrolling and touring new families

Keeping required NYS OCFS documentation up to date

Scheduling, hiring and supporting teachers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
