The Opportunity
Customer Service Specialist (Hybrid)
Reporting to the Senior Manager, LifeCycle & Order Management, the Customer Services Specialist serves a global customer base in conjunction with the Program Management team and is the primary interface to designated customers authorized purchasing representatives for Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions products and services.
Location: Fairborn - OH / Portland (PacStar - Parvus) - OR-US
Your Challenge:

Primary focus will be on the management of customer deliverables, and timely, accurate provision of status from receipt to shipment.

Accurate and timely entry of complex customer purchase orders, including fresh lot and repair orders.

Tracking and expediting internal Contract Reviews and Order Acknowledgement/Acceptance

Day to day administration of the Order Management Desk inbox and purchase order log in MS SharePoint

Coordination of customer approvals required in support of Broker by Approval for COTS products.

Partnering with Program Management and LifeCycle Services teams to support customer reports and deliverables.

First line of support in interfacing with the customer for day-to-day issues, primary liaison between the customer and other internal departments

Effectively communicate details of customer orders to various internal teams to ensure all requirements are met.

Work closely with Program Management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive activities that support the customer.

Participate in customer conference calls and meetings, standing in for Program Mangers as required.

Escalation of issues to Program Management and Senior Manager, LifeCycle & Order Management

Rescheduling or renegotiating contractual delivery dates with customers.

Attend internal meetings to mitigate possible risks to on-time delivery performance.

Strong computer skills including MS-Office, MRP and CRM systems (SAP or Pivotal knowledge a benefit)

Negotiating skills and abilities an asset – always aiming for “win-win”
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
-
Experience in Order Management or related experience in customer service
