Since 1981 Ward Road Pharmacy (WRP) has been providing the highest level of service to the intellectually & developmentally disabled (IDD) community. We specialize in Long Term Care Pharmaceutical and Homecare supplies. We are a local “one-stop-shop” for prescription medication and homecare supplies across the state of Colorado.

Summary:

Ward Road Pharmacy is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Homecare Supplies department team as a Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients across phone and email support channels, preparing, processing and filing medical documentation and ensuring overall customer happiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming patient and physician office calls related to new orders, and ongoing patient service needs such as troubleshooting, order status and other general inquiries.
  • Complete outbound calls regarding monthly orders, order receipt confirmation, discussing documentation requirements, insurance benefits and patient scheduling.
  • Processing customer orders and coordinating with the fulfillment team to ensure timely delivery.
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints, concerns, and billing issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating customer information in our database.
  • Review incoming faxes and determine the appropriate actions
  • Handle requests for audit and documentation purposes.
  • Collect payment and billing information as needed.
  • Occasional assistance pulling orders for fulfilment team
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Commitment to care for patient wellbeing
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfort navigating a computer and basic web-based and Microsoft Office applications
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous customer experience a plus (especially in the healthcare industry)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints with empathy and tact.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $19.00 per hour
