    The State Board for Educator Certification will require all first time applicants for an initial credential to be fingerprinted as part of a national criminal background check. A cost of up to $49.00 will be charged for fingerprinting.
    PRIMARY PURPOSE:
    To coordinate, develop and implement compliance processes at the district level and support the implementation of state and federal programs in the area of curriculum and instruction.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
    • Coordinate state and federal expenditures to ensure correlation to instructional activities and resources.
    • Completes and maintains documentation for state/federal compliance reports.
    • Coordinate with district level administrators to ensure alignment of curriculum and resources for at risk and Title I students.
    • Assist with the coordination of special programs to meet student needs.
    • Serve as district liaison for Homeless services and oversee all aspects of that program.
    • Coordinate campus Title I services.
    • Assist in the collection and analysis of data to make staffing decisions for all Title I to ensure adequate staff and resource allocation.
    • Provide consistent communication of district, state, and federal expectations to Title I campuses.
    • Support and train campus principals in use of tools to store necessary Title I documentation.
    • Serve as a liaison between parents and the district in relation to Homeless services and Title I.
    • Assist in development and submission of federal grant applications.
    • Support the development of state compensatory education and federal budgets.
    • Assists in developing federal budgets.
    • Demonstrates regular and prompt attendance.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    GENERAL QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

    Education/Certification/Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Experience in education field focused on state and federal regulations. .
    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    • Knowledge of state and federal laws.
    • Skill in developing budgets; and working well with people.
    • Ability to communicate effectively; work collaboratively; and analyze data.
