McGill Restoration is now seeking construction workers for commercial restoration to join our rapidly growing team! If you have experience in construction, now is the time to advance your career!
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper materials and Personal Protective Equipment is provided and used
- Have knowledge of all work and materials to be used ahead of time on job site
- Maintain a safe and productive job site daily
- Understand and be able to complete work at an acceptable level in one or more of the following tasks: framing/carpentry, demolition, specialty finishes, specialty coating application, abrasive blasting, and installation of joint sealants
- Perform manual work functions associated with specific jobs
- Maintain working relationships with crew members, other on-site companies, and customers
- Prepare and cleanup the job site on a daily basis
- Must report to work at designated location and time
- Daily responsibilities include job site safety, cleaning and preparing of job site, demolition, framing, specialty fabrication and installation, installation of glass fiber reinforced concrete units, traffic control, mixing materials, and operating necessary power tools as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of combined experience in one or more of the following areas: carpentry, demolition, specialty finishes, specialty coating application, abrasive blasting, and/or installation of joint sealants
- Prior knowledge of scaffolding and safety while working off scaffolding
- The ability to travel as needed for local business
- Demonstrated problem solving and people skills
- High accuracy in work, attention to detail
- Proven oral and written skills required
- Complete all company training as required
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Hours may be required outside of normal office hours, including some Saturdays
- Extensive standing, stooping, climbing, walking, handling, and grasping with repetitive motions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. overhead
- The start date for this position is in mid-May

Pay Range
- $18.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
