How your skills will be used:

The PEC Communications Team Lead will manage workflow and team resources, develop marketing and communications processes, plans, and initiatives that are in alignment with modern marketing and industry best practices, corporate brand, business objectives, and revenue goals; and lead the training of team members. You will:

  • Create and lead corporate-wide communication/marketing strategies that support strategic business objectives, drive annual growth, and enhance the employee and customer experience.
  • Oversee, manage, and traffic company-wide communication needs including but not limited to internal communications, social media, public relations, thought leadership, educational presentations, events, and graphic design efforts.
  • Manage campaigns from ideation through distribution.
  • Build and implement communications team processes and strategy ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness, working directly with the Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Compile key communications metrics on a regular basis, periodically assess data and recommend efficiencies/ changes. Develop team KPIs.
  • Track industry awards and rankings; oversee social and web analytics.
  • Track and oversee photography for both projects and communication needs.
  • Ensure the development of communications staff through tools and training to meet the desired needs of the department, acting as a mentor and advocate for career growth.
  • Actively develop content through writing and editing.
  • Oversee use of corporate brand standards, templates, instructions, manuals, and documents.
  • Manage the development of all branded material requests supporting internal departments and committees.
  • Partner with team members and management to drive schedules, milestones, and priorities.

Please apply if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • 6+ years of communications management experience within the A/E/C industry (preferred).
  • Exceptional communication skills including writing, speaking, and active listening.
  • Leadership skills including training and mentorship.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy, planning, positioning, and messaging.
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred.
  • Great project management skills, including time management, goal-setting, and prioritization.
  • Grasp of digital strategy, including but not limited to website, SEO, and social media.
