What this position entails
Offering tremendous ROI, the Milliman IntelliScript Irix® rules engine provides our clients with intelligent analysis of prescription histories and other medical data. Irix enables life and health insurance underwriters to make better decisions by generating comprehensive, customized reports that reduce the time needed for risk analysis.
Reporting to the Manager, Client Relationships, the Client Relationship Manager is responsible for client and revenue retention. This person will partner with an existing team of Client Relationship Managers, Sales Executives, Operations and technical product teams. After receiving thorough training on processes and product offerings, the Client Relationship Manager will assume direct responsibility for full client satisfaction comprising active Irix accounts nationwide.
Through excellent customer service, IntelliScript clients will view this Client Relationship Manager as a consultant, project manager, and trusted advisor. While we put a premium on face-to-face relationship building with our clients, the majority of customer interaction can be managed remotely via phone and web conferencing.
What you’ll be doing
- Represent the Milliman IntelliScript brand with maturity and professionalism
- Support clients’ use of Milliman IntelliScript’s identified data business solutions
- Provide an open communication channel between IntelliScript and our clients
- Discern the true need when a client is describing a problem or concern
- Increase Milliman IntelliScript’s success by educating customers on additional product offerings (i.e. identified as well as de-identified)
- Maintain knowledge of dedicated accounts i.e. each client’s business, contacts and all Milliman touch points
- Provide training, ongoing support and account maintenance
- Appropriately engage other Milliman IntelliScript business units and departments (such as business development, marketing, analytics, IT and legal)
- Effectively coordinate communications and facilitate joint client efforts
- Work with Account Executives (Sales) to forecast and support future business
- Manage legal documents as needed, e.g. agreements, amendments, BAA, etc.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contacts and activities in Salesforce
- Complete significant client touches quarterly (KPI reports)
- Study current market conditions and industry trends that affect our clients and our business
What we need
- 5+ years of professional experience
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in insurance, health care, financial services, and/or software-as-a-service (SaaS)
- Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills
- Must be able to successfully manage ambiguous situations
- Proven track record of success in building customer relationships
- Understanding of how data is used to influence business decisions
- Strong command of Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Past experience and continued ability to travel nationwide, up to 30% (usually day trips or overnight) for client meetings, conferences and company events

Location
This position will be based out of the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI; however, this position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed.
The base salary for the position will vary with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $105,000 depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. In addition, we offer a significant performance-based bonus plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits.
