QUALIFICATIONS:

2. Has state certification to serve as a paraprofessional

REPORTS TO: Teacher/Principal
JOB GOAL: To provide help to teachers by working with students, either individually or in small groups, to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepares classroom activities under the supervision of a certified teacher.
2. Works with small groups of students to reinforce material introduced by a teacher.
3. Assists individual students.
4. Performs clerical duties as appropriate for language arts.
5. Secures materials and supplies needed in the classroom.
6. Participates in in-service training.
7. Supervises cafeteria and playground when assigned.
