We are looking to hire a CHB Export Declarant to support an important client in Spain. This position could be based in Algeciras (preferably) or Valencia, within an amazing team.
As a CHB Export Declarant, you will be expected to understand the business and your main mission will be supporting Customs processes, ensuring effective operational development and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:
  • Declarant with experience in international trade and logistics that can contribute by supporting Customs processes ensuring effective operational development and customer satisfaction
  • Offer an unbeatable service to customers.
  • Follow the established operating procedures efficiently, while contributing to the constant search for improvements.
  • Offer solutions to the challenges that arise and solve critical problems that may occur both for Maersk L&S and for the customer on a day-to-day basis.
  • Continuous monitoring of all customs clearance processes.
  • Participate in customer visits, if necessary, to promote Customs products.
  • Interact with management positions within the client’s organization, Customs Authorities and other Agencies, Maersk offices locally and abroad, establishing relationships between all parties involved for mutual benefit.
Requirements:
  • Degree in International Trade or similar will be valued.
  • Good handling Microsoft Systems.
  • Experience as a Customs declarant.
  • Knowledge in Logistics that includes all types of traffic, whether maritime, land, rail or air.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - Ensure a high level of communication with stakeholders and internal team members.
  • A good team player.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at a high rate of work.
  • Customer oriented with ability to give customers exceptional service
  • High level of written and spoken English - minimum level B2.
  • Proactive, dynamic and well organized person.
