We are looking to hire a CHB Export Declarant to support an important client in Spain. This position could be based in Algeciras (preferably) or Valencia, within an amazing team.
As a CHB Export Declarant, you will be expected to understand the business and your main mission will be supporting Customs processes, ensuring effective operational development and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

Declarant with experience in international trade and logistics that can contribute by supporting Customs processes ensuring effective operational development and customer satisfaction

Offer an unbeatable service to customers.

Follow the established operating procedures efficiently, while contributing to the constant search for improvements.

Offer solutions to the challenges that arise and solve critical problems that may occur both for Maersk L&S and for the customer on a day-to-day basis.

Continuous monitoring of all customs clearance processes.

Participate in customer visits, if necessary, to promote Customs products.

Interact with management positions within the client’s organization, Customs Authorities and other Agencies, Maersk offices locally and abroad, establishing relationships between all parties involved for mutual benefit.
Requirements:

Degree in International Trade or similar will be valued.

Good handling Microsoft Systems.

Experience as a Customs declarant.

Knowledge in Logistics that includes all types of traffic, whether maritime, land, rail or air.
Business skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills - Ensure a high level of communication with stakeholders and internal team members.- A good team player.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks at a high rate of work.
- Customer oriented with ability to give customers exceptional service
- High level of written and spoken English - minimum level B2.
- Proactive, dynamic and well organized person.
