Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Carpenter to build, erect, install, and perform all duties necessary to frame single & multi–family panelized homes in a professional manner, while striving for excellence and good workmanship. Comprehensive 12 Week Training Program.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Understands the proper use of all tools and equipment.
• Understands and follows local building code requirements.
• Installs wall panels according to plans.
• Ensures walls are square, plumb, level, and straight.
• Lays out and installs second floors and walls.
• Prepares roof trusses for installation.
• Installs trusses.
• Installs sub facia and brick pocket/soffit backing/nailers.
• Installs roof decking/sheathing.
• Installs truss bracing and deadwood.
• Looks for opportunities to train and mentor junior team members.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to perform and complete punch items as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $27.00 per hour
