Join our Echocardiology Department as a Cardiac Sonographer located in our Scripps Clinic Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. You will experience the pride, and support of being a member of an outstanding sonographer/diagnostics team where we share a culture of providing excellent care to our patients and each other.

Cardiac Sonographer independently performs Adult TTE, SE, TEE and participates in OR and structural heart procedures (TAVR, TEER, LAA occlusion). Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. They adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.

This is a Full Time (80 hours per pay period) position, 10-hour day shifts and is located at Scripps Anderson Medical Pavilion at the Scripps La Jolla Campus.

New Hire Incentive available up to $11,000 for those who qualify.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty

Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter

Required Qualifications:
ARDMS or CCI
BLS from the American Heart Association
Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in structural heart procedures
Inpatient experience
Experience with LVAD and ECMO patients
Experience with stress echo
Experience with strain
Experience with 3D
Experience with writing preliminary reports
Experience with ultrasound enhancing agents
