Job Overview:

The Food Service and Tray associates may work in any location on client premises. Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs. Answers customer's questions about the merchandise. Assists customers with purchase decisions. Collects payment using the store point of sale system. Tray Associate is responsible for the delivery of meals to patients’ rooms, primarily during the evening/dinner shifts. Maintains bar/cart area in a neat and sanitary manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets Customers take orders, mix, and serve hot and cold beverages.
• Works to maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all beverages and food items.
• Arranges coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to make attractive displays.
• Often cleans coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms, and preparation areas.
• May operate a cash/credit card/electronic payment register.
• Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
• Complies with all Xanitos HACCP policies and procedures.
• Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Responsible for delivery of meals to patients’ rooms, primarily during the evening/dinner shifts.

Job Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
