Overview:
Texas Oncology is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team! This full time position is remote and will support the Central Business Office location in Richardson, TX .

What does the Business Systems Analyst do?
Supports the reporting needs of the Central Business Office. Generates all Psimed and Medic Month-End reports for region. Supports Finance Department by preparing regular and ad-hoc reports. Supports the Business Office computer needs. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

What does the Business Systems Analyst do?

Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities:
- Runs month-end reports from IDX 7.3. Generates multiple reports for Business Office management planning and decision making.
- Generates regular reports and analysis for the Central Business Office to monitor accounts receivable, track payments and adjustments etc.
- Develops and generates ad-hoc business office reports for physicians and sites of service.
- Works with the Finance Department to develop and generate ad-hoc reports reflecting gross charges and related financial information.
- Supporting the TxO Reporting team and cross training with others in the department.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Business Systems Analyst will have the following background and experience:
- Associates or Technical degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (Bachelors degree preferred).
- Minimum two to five years medical business office and understanding CPT and ICD10 coding is a plus.
- Report writing using Athenahealth Informatics or other report writing tools is highly desired.
- Being proficient in all Microsoft tools such as Excel and Access is highly desired.
- Understanding SQL and writing case statements is a plus.
