JOB SUMMARY

Analyze and report on various data points needed to oversee vendor relationships for domestic and international suppliers to ensure supply and pricing agreements are upheld and effectively executed. Analyze data to report on increasing margin opportunities and efficiencies for various divisional processes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Obtain data from vendors to generate monthly bid, process vendor bid responses, and generate bid awards.
• Process vendor forecast data received.
• Analyze, report, and resolve pricing discrepancies, material outages and overstock between vendor partners and Medline.
• Analyze and preload price changes in the system. Provide reporting on impact of price changes and under/overbilling to business.
• Pull SAP data and format in multiple ways for comprehensive analysis.
• Work directly with internal teams to provide intermediate level analysis and reporting as necessary.
• Process monthly savings reporting.
• Perform ad hoc special project requests.

Work Experience

• Experience documenting procedures and internal controls.
• SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge and experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities-See Minimum Job Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling). V-lookup, pivot table, and macro usage and creation skills a plus.
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
